Prayer Request

Joe Brannen and his family are in need of your prayers! 

Mr. Joe had surgery last Monday to correct his foot turning over and his toes curling up.  He started having complications and had to stay in the hospital.  While in the hospital he has had another stroke and the doctor told them yesterday that they were going to have to take Mr. Joe's left leg due to a blood disease.  The whole family is scared to death that Mr. Joe's body will not deal well with the trauma from having another surgery.

I saw God today...

I've been to church
I've read the book
I know he's here
But I don't look
Near as often as I should

His fingerprints are everywhere
I just slowed down to stop and stare
Opened my eyes and man I swear
I saw God today

I love this song.  It always makes me stop and think about how God is everywhere!  Life moves so fast that if I don't stop and open my eyes, I miss so many blessings that God has intended for me.  

I saw God today... did you? 

A call to prayer...

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

This is a "Call to Prayer" for Heidi's mom, Ms. Debbie, who will be having surgery Monday.  Please take a moment to say a prayer for Ms. Debbie, her family and the doctors as prayer unleashes Gods's power so that He is able to work in our behalf.

Please lift Danny and Sandra up in your prayers as they continue to deal with a family situation.
